PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA / PURPOSE OF THE REGISTER

The purpose of the processing is to manage customer relationship, implement the rights and obligations of customer and data controller, and process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act for purposes related to online services. In addition, personal data are processed for the marketing of the controller and the companies belonging to the same group as the controller, including direct marketing. Direct marketing can also be implemented electronically.

REGULAR SOURCES OF INFORMATION

Information provided by the customer. Any additional information recorded by Futurelab Oy in customer service situations.

  • enabling the service of customers
  • customer relationship management and maintenance
  • direct marketing through different channels
  • planning, statistics and monitoring of the organisation’s own activities

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

Futurelab Oy discloses customer data within the limits required by applicable legislation. The data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area or the European Union.

PROTECTION OF THE REGISTER

The register is used only by Futurelab Oy employees. The information is collected in electronic databases that require a username and password. The information network and equipment of Futurelab Oy’s information system and network service administrator, on which the register is located, is protected by a firewall and other technical actions. The information is protected by access rights defined on the basis of the employee’s duties. Internal instructions have been prepared for the use of the registers. The manual material printed from the database is stored as required by law in the company’s controlled premises and, if necessary, disposed safely.

RIGHT OF INSPECTION PURSUANNT TO CHAPTER 6 SECTION 26 OF THE PERSONAL DATA ACT

Registered person has the right to inspect the information entered in the register about him or her, the right to demand the correction of incorrect information and otherwise to exercise his or her rights protected by the Personal Data Act. A written request for verification and correction of the data must be addressed to the person responsible for the register (see section 3).

OTHER RIGHTS RELATING TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The registered person has the right to refuse to process personal data for the purposes of direct mail, distance selling and other direct marketing, as well as market and opinion research. The ban shall be entered in the register.
